Here are the layouts I made with my newest kit

My Forever Friend

This first layout is of my Dad (in the middle) with his two brothers at our 2005 bi-annual Tucker Family Reunion. The pictures did not develop well because I waited almost 6 years to develop them! I find the best way to make a poor quaily picture look great to to make it into a black and whitt photo.

Works like a charm!

This one is of my niece and her boyfriend before they left for the Senior Ball. She was gorgeous!

This is of my Mom in 1985. She is with my cousins whom we visited with often! I thought my Mom was HAWT! with this hair cut!

This handsome man is my soon to be 18 year old son Zack. It was also his Senior Ball two weekeneds ago. I cought him in an unposed moment which is great! Love this photo and the layout is simple. Sweet!

Lastly, this is Zack with two of his best buds harry and Connor. Connor is his best friend. This was taken at the Ball be a photographer..I was able to snag it. :o) Yea me! lol

Ding-A-Ling

This is my newest kit in the Digi Scrap Station store right now! I called it Ding-A-Ling. I have to say, naming scrap kits is harder than naming my children! I am running out of ideas! I guess the name is more of an idea of what to scrap than anything...scrap some funny times you have caught on camera! This kit itself is $4.00 and there is a lot in there! 15 papers and 58 elements!

This is the glitter set, great for embellishing a page. $1.00!

And the Paper Pack for you hybrid crafters out there...$2.00!

I personally love using QP's...great when I am making an albumn and need something quick! $2.00!

I am currently making an album for my newly graduated niece. These are some of the layouts that will be in it. it is my gift to her to be presented at her party. in the back of the album will be a place for people to write thier thoughts about kristin...i think she will love it!

My mother's mother. Grandma also named me hersel, Jodi Lorraine. Lorraine is the name she went by although Madeline was her legal name. Grandma passed away a few years ago.

Lina's Joy Train and A CU Freebie

This is Lina. She is a valued and active member of my Creative Team. Lina found out she was pregnant for her 3rd child last fall and had a very difficult start to her pregnacy. She was very ill and incapacitated, which is difficult when you have a a toddler and a 4 year old running around! Come to find out, Lina was carrying twins and sadly lost one of them. This was devestating news, but we were happy that she was okay and that the other baby still thrived. Lina is due in August and we thought it would be a wonderful gift to her and other expectant mothers to do a baby themed blog train! The due date for all participants is July 15th. We do have a Yahoo group and a blog where your blog will be linked if you decide to join us on this baby train! www.linasjoy.blogspot.com. Just email me at tghjlw@gmail.com if you wouldlike to be added as one of our "stops". Train is scheduled to depart on August 1st! The ad and palette is below. Like No Tomorrow: New Kit!!!

This is my newest creation, Like no tomorrow. I picked out the color palette and was actually trying something new for me...2 colors with 3 varying shades of each from darker to lighter. I did the first two papers and thought...no way! I hate it! I thought it was not going to have enough color to it...But then I said, well, I will do a few more papers and see how it looks then...and then I started loving it! It worked! lol Is it not the most cheerful thing you have seen all day? (Don't answer mothers with infants) I hope you like it as much as I do. It is on sale for half off for two weeks. This is a layout I made with the kit, this layout will also be in the QP set that will be in the stores soon as well. This is a picture of my nephew and my two boys. Zack in the middle looks JUST like me at that age, but now he looks like his dad for the most part...And look at the honking feet on my youngest son! Don't tell his Dad I had an affair with Fred Flintstone...lol

Wendy Tunison made the next two layouts! I love how little you need to do layouts...fill it up, or minimize what you use, but make it work people! lol I watch too much Bravo! lol

I Love that fence! The horse is okay too. lol He was gorgeous!

This is Julee's son Jakob. He is a funny guy and shows much promise to become an outstanding specimen of the human race! I love him. He is the nephew of my heart. I mean look at him, you want him to be your nephew too...don't-cha? I love the dandelion puffs in this kit..okay, there is one, but I love it...I even took the picture of it myself. Dandelions are a nice masculine addition for a flower....

So of course, I had to make a layout with it..lol My Dad and Step-Mom. Instead of using the border as waves, I used as a....well..I used it as a border! lol Always remember, those shots you take that you look at and say...crap! I need to take another one..this one isn't right...I took three of those before getting the good one...don't delete the bad ones...they can tell a funny story when you use them all in one layout. I love the way my step-Mom is fiddling with his shirt or something there...then he wasn't looking, then she closed her eyes and finally...ah! the perfect picture. They all work great together!
Next up is from my newest CT member...Jodi. Yes! another Jodi, I cannot get enough of them...lol You can visit her blog here and see what else she has in the works. She just started to blog so please leave her some comments! Great layouts Jodi, it almost looks like the swirly is the path the butterflies are on!

That is half off the regular price! And here is a layout I made with it...I am so happy with how this turned out! This is my BFF since the 10th grade! We spent Saturday tilling the soil at her house...okay...I lie. She and my Mom and her main man tilled the soil. I was busy babysitting and they got done so fast...they even had the manure mixed in! So I was the house bitch for the day...lol I was supposed to wait on all three hand and foot...but lets face it...I am not a tiller of the soil and I don't make a great slave either. I did however do the dishes after a cookout we had....my family of 4, my Mom and step-dad and Julee and her main man (cause you know...there are just tons more out there so he is the Main man. lol) So that was dishes for 8 people...Fine! We use paper plates and plastic utensils...and styrofoam bowls....I suck. lol

About the layout...Julee just bought this new camera she has been slobbering over for about a year now...she got it a few weeks ago....in a few years you will see her photos gracing the cover of TIME magazine...prove me wrong! lol So I wanted to get a pic of her in her beginning stages....I like it. Where did I get the inspiration for this fab to die for layout you ask? Why...I got it from none other than Pencil Lines sketch #132! So you too can make great layouts, if you don't already...let me know what you think!

The irises are from my own garden last year. If you do buy it, I would love to be able to post some of the layouts here! My name is Eleanor aka Leah to my family and friends. I'm a stay-at-home mother of 2 boys, Gregorie (15) and Jerman (12), and a girl, Halley (9). I have been with my soul mate and man of my dreams, Michael, for almost 14 yrs. We live in Southern California in the suburbs 35 miles east of LA. We have 2 dogs, Lexus & Rocky, and 2 fishes. I have been digital scrapbooking for 7 months, ever since the mortgage company I worked at for 6 years closed its doors. I am learning how to design my own kits and have put out a couple of kits in the last 2 months. Would you believe I have never made a scrapbook page in paper? It's true!!! It is always such a pleasant surprise to recieve an award.....This is from Leah over at Something New.

Premio Dardos Award. "The PREMIO DARDOS AWARD" acknowledges the value of every blogger who shows effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literacy and personal values everyday. I don't know if I fit that description but I can say this...It is at least half right! lol I do try to live my life ethically and my personal values have much to do with my faith in God and Jesus Christ. So, thank you Leah for bestowing me with this beautiful award! There are rules to this award, I am supposed to pass it on but honestly, I just cannot pass it on! It requires 15 people and just the thought of picking 15 people and setting up the links, and letting them all know it is here...overwhelms me. I suffer from anxiety and this brings it out for me! lol It is not funny! But it is.

I've been challenged by my newest scrapping friend Lou of Designz by Lou These are the challenge instructions:

•Go to your photo folder in your computer.

So, here is my picture:

Ah, yes...back when I had a cheapo digital camera...I had to tweak the heck out of this picture to be able to use it...it was much darker. And look at those lines! This is Christmas 2003. These two boys, I call my own. They were 7 and 10 at the time. Believe it or not, but the oldest has white hair and the younger of my sons had slightly darker hair. It was proably around 4am no doubt. We finally have them getting up around 7 for Christmas morning...lol Well, that was fun! Thanks you Lou. :o)

The most coincidental thing happened....

About 3 and a half weeks ago, I was surfing the blogs on my favorites list and I found a kit that was very much like one I had finished about 3 weeks before I saw this one. My kit is called Slumbering, this one was called Slumber. My kit was in deep purples, her kit was in lighter shades of purple. I had glittery hanging stars! So did she!! Oh, the agony! lol I had not released mine yet, and there was her kit, already on her blog and I just knew if I released mine, I would have people calling me a copycat. I am not a copycat. So, I emailed Dannie from The Urban Fairy to tell her about our kits and that I was willing to change the name of mine, but I just wanted her aware that I had a kit similar to hers in idea and structure. She was completely wonderful! She said no, don't change your title...let's advertise them, together! So here we are today...I will first show you Dannie's kit Slumber. It is delicate and pretty! She did a fantastic job on it!

New Artarazzi Challenge

Here is my result, the challenge was to take the image this woman was on...use her in some new way...I am guessing...cause the only requirememt I could see was to use the image...lol I am a scrapbook designer...so it may take me a while to break out of that comfotable style...I did not exactly extract her as it would have taken forever and a day..I used the smudge tool and pushed the edges in towards her. I then selected the botton part of her dress and changed the color to match the enlarged flower behind her. Both flower and paper aredesigned by myself and from my My Deepest Love Kit. I am not sure of the measurements, but it looks close to a 5x7 and great for a card front. Please feel free to use for such!

A Great New Challenge Blog for Digital Artists!

I just came across this blog: Artarazzi ...I am not one to do challenges, but I could not resist this one as I have always loved this artwork by Waterhouse. The challenge was to use this art with the color orange and come up with something. This is sized at 5X7, so if anyone would like to use it for a card front, be my guest.
